Pasteurizer Automation - La Plata Children's Hospital
Automation of the infant milk formula pasteurizer at the La Plata Children's Hospital
The project aimed to modernize and automate the production of infant milk formulas for patients at the Sor María Ludovica Children's Hospital, replacing manual processes with an automated system that monitors critical variables in real time, such as pasteurization temperatures and times.
As a result, the team developed and implemented a comprehensive electronic control and software system that automated the process, improved formula safety and quality, and enabled batch traceability through production reports. The system also issues alerts in the event of failures or anomalies, reducing the risk of contamination and human error and improving operational efficiency.
