Soap Production at CIAB
The team led by professors Daniel Gulo and Oscar Danilin, together with Eng. Diego Scamuffo and research fellows Iván Gaitán, Julia Comas and Brenda Chiappetta, carried out the first cold-process soap rebatching production.
Handwashing and personal hygiene are key measures for preventing many illnesses, such as acute diarrheal diseases and acute respiratory infections. This work yielded nearly 100 bars, which will be cured and then delivered to the UNIBON Foundation for distribution to vulnerable households.
